Are you scared like me when you have to shell out $2000 for a gaming laptop, but you cannot be sure if the machine will perform as you expect. All the horror stories of guys spending 3k on an Alienware where the hinges broke after 6 month or the day after the warranty expired? Overheating, freezing, blue screen of death, noisy fans …. the real issue is that you cannot test drive these machines ahead of time, because the retail stores don’t carry them. I found the best shot I have is read comments (lots of them ) from real buyers.

This ASUS-G74SX-DH73-3D review I hope is different, I’m not trying to tell anyone how great the item is. Just read the reviews for yourself. But with this particular model from ASUS ROG I’m very confident that it is one of the best gaming laptops on the market right now. The entire G74SX DH series gets consistently the highest user review marks. It includes the ASUS-G74SX-DH72-3D and ASUS-G74SX-DH71-3D models. The only computers that score higher by user ratings are some of the Mac Book Pro laptops.
